NONEXCLUSIVE FRANCHISE AGREEMENT TO COMCAST

NOTICE is hereby given, that in accordance with Virginia Code 15.2-2108.20, the Bland County Board of Supervisors shall hold a public hearing on June 19, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. in the Bland County Courthouse located at 612 Main St., Bland, Virginia.

The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comments and to consider a request from Comcast, its successors, and assigns, for a renewal of its nonexclusive franchise agreement to use the streets and other public places, for its poles, wires, conduits, cables, and telecommunication facilities.  The franchise agreement requested is for a period of fifteen (15) years.

 A copy of the request is available at the County Administration office, 612 Main Street, Suite 201, Bland, Virginia and may be viewed between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday.
