NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

The Bland County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing immediately following the Tuesday, July 29, 2014, 5:00 p.m.  regular board meeting, in the main courtroom of the Courthouse located at 612 Main Street, Bland, Virginia 24315 to receive comments on, and consider the following:

Proposed Budget Amendment, Supplemental Appropriation and Real Estate Tax Levy increase:

In accordance with Sec. 15.2-2507 of the Code of Virginia, the Bland County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing immediately following the regular meeting on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 in the main courtroom of the Courthouse, 612 Main Street, Bland, Virginia, to receive comments on a proposed budget amendment, supplemental appropriation to the Bland County School System and Real Estate Tax Levy Increase.

PROPOSED BUDGET AMENDMENT, SUPPLEMENTAL APPRORIATION & REAL ESTATE TAX LEVY INCREASE FOR

BLAND COUNTY, VIRGINIA

*This does not include PSC R/E taxes.

The total County Budget (revenue & expenditure) will increase from $26,889,715 to $27,107,188 with the above proposed amendment.
