A HOPPING GOOD TIME TO BE HAD BY ALL WHO ATTEND THE THIRD ANNUAL EASTER EGG HUNT IN THE VILLAGE

Bastian, VA—Participants in the Third Annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Village are in for a hopping good time on Saturday, April 20, 2019. Over 5,000 eggs will be hidden throughout our village for eager egg hunters to find. Prizes will be awarded for the most and least eggs found in several age categories. One special prize will be awarded to the finder of the Lucky Golden Egg. Don’t forget to bring your camera, as the Easter Bunny is scheduled to “hop in” and visit with the children during the event, as well.

“We are so excited to host our Third Annual Easter Egg Hunt in the Village. With the success of the prior years and increase in the number of participants last year, we have decided not only to increase the number of eggs that will be hidden from 3,000 to over 5,000, but also to increase the area in which the eggs will be hidden. The staff is planning to use more of the area around the village and down the paths to create a much bigger Easter Egg Hunting area. We are hoping this will encourage even more children to come out and participate in this fun day,” stated Jaime Williams, General Manager. “Our goal with many of our events, is to encourage participants from our local community to take advantage of what Wolf Creek Indian Village has to offer in their own backyard.”

This event is open to children ages 12 and under, and all children must be accompanied by an adult. Admission for this event is $3 per child. Adults are FREE when accompanied by a child. The event will start at 10 a.m. with prizes to be awarded at the museum courtyard after all eggs have been found. Participants of the egg hunt interested in touring the village after the hunt will be given a special group rate admission of $5 per child and $7 per adult.

Wolf Creek Indian Village & Museum is open year-round on Mondays-Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Guided tours to the village are available daily from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and self-guided tours from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Gift shop and conventional museum hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
